Fun run to support peace in Palestine
AFOPA's (Australian Friends of Palestine Association) objectives are to promote peace in Palestine along with supporting the Palestine people in their quest to live in their own land. AFOPA works hard at promoting the Palestinian identity and their heritage and culture to the Australians and Australian Palestinians. In doing this, they raise funds by engaging in charitable activities to support the needs of Palestinians.
On Sunday 17th November 2019 from 9.30am to 2.00pm, AFOPA is hosting the 2019 Run for Palestine – Adelaide Fun Run. You do not have to run to enter, you can walk, push a pram or run. The route of a five-kilometre run or walk (one lap) around Adelaide's beautiful linear park along the Torrens River sets off from Bonython Park.
