The craziest obstacle course in Perth is back again. A fantastic 5km fun run style race called Run A Muck . This popular, fun event will be held on Sunday 22nd September, 2013 at the Belvoir Estate in the Swan Valley, so come along and join in the fun.



Previously known as Stampede in the Valley, the Run A Muck event combines a 5km race with twenty different obstacles. The trail is challenging, muddy and messy as you make your way through swamps, billabongs, rivers, paddocks and masses of mud.

The series of fun obstacles include such things as balance beams, cargo nets, tyre runs, slip and slid, sack races, swinging from trees, mud filled pits and much, much more.

The Run A Muck event is designed so that people of all ages and abilities can take part. .There is a special mini race course just for kids, you can compete as part of a team or as an individual, and there are great prizes to be won.

The course should take approximately one hour to complete but there is no time limit for the Run A Muck race, you can compete at your own pace. It's all abut having fun, getting dirty and raising money for the MS society.



The first wave of runners will take off at 8am, then new waves of racers will leave every twenty minutes. You can choose your own start time when you register.

There are several different start times and race categories for the Run A Muck 2013. You need to register well in advance as places fill up fast. Registrations prices start at $25.00 for children and $37.00 for adults. You can register on-line at the Run A Muck website.



There will be loads of free entertainment and activities for the kids, plus plenty of food, drinks and refreshments, all available in the festival area. If you prefer you can pack a picnic and a rug and make a family day of it.

On the day of the race, you need to arrive about thirty minutes before your start time to receive you wrist band, race number and general race information. Spectators are more than welcome.

If you would like to be part of the fun but don't want to take part in the race, the Run A Muck event needs plenty of volunteers. You could help with registration, directing racers, parking and much more. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer visit the Run A Muck website for details.
