Adele currently has the whole music and entertainment industry cheering and rooting for her post the Grammy's sweep this year and Australia is waiting for her tour in March 2017. And if you thought that was your only opportunity to enjoy Adele's music, then you haven't met Naomi Price.

Naomi Price is a popular cabaret and theatre actress who shot to fame as part of Team Ricky on the Voice Australia in 2015. The show, Rumour Has It, that celebrates the life and music of Adele (with Naomi Price playing Adele) has been hugely successful across the country. Along with a very talented live band on the stage and glimpses of Adele's life and journey to fame, from the time she was Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, Naomi renders a superbly entertaining performance over 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The show opens with the title track, Rumour Has It, and Naomi walks in with her glass of what is supposedly gin and tonic, walking the walk and talking the talk like Adele. She quickly moves onto the crowd favourite, Rolling in the Deep, and has everyone in the audience clapping and joining her in the song.

Naomi's Price rendition of Rolling in the Deep:

She talks about her (Adele's) early life and the struggles she faced growing up in Tottenham. A fond memory she vividly describes is one of her performing the Spice Girls at home in front of her mother. Before you know it, she has transformed into a super combination of all the 5 Spice Girls and delivers a true mix of all the popular spice girls songs, like one you haven't heard before. It's a 5 minute flashback of everything one loves about The Spice Girls.

She chats to the audience as Adele, brings in some stand-up comedy vibes, talks like a person from the English town of Tottenham and takes a dig at everything she possibly can; the venue, the country, America and her band. She leaves the audience laughing to bits with her funny take on life.

Naomi (as Adele) talks about the songs she writes, when she wrote them, why, for whom and effortlessly brings in the emotion associated with many of the songs. The theatrics of bubbles and confetti for certain songs only enhances the experience for the audience. Naomi also does a beautiful version of Adele's award-winning Skyfall.

If you thought by now you were well aware of all Naomi Price has got to offer, hold your horses. She comes up with a new one, she does an awesome Celine Dion as Adele with Rolling in the Deep. One more feather in her cap.

The live band on the stage is extremely talented. They work their wonders with the electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and piano and the 2 artists on vocals are outstanding. Ending with what they call the Adele Megamix 3000, it is a great composition of Adele's top hits and favourites.

Naomi Price is unmissable as Adele. I think I am a fan of Naomi Price's version of Adele after watching the show. If anyone could better it, it would be Adele herself. I think Naomi could have Adele in awe of herself on watching the show.
