What better way to spend an evening out in Melbourne, the AFL capital of Australia, then spending a night at the rugby watching the Melbourne Storm . Whether you are a sports fan or not, this is one night out that I would strongly recommend you give a go, and who knows for those of you that are not rugby or sports fans, this might just be the night you change your mind.

Firstly no night is complete without a good meal, so after getting off the train at Flinders Street Station and crossing the road to get to Fed Square, why not consider Beer Deluxe as your first stop for the evening. Go inside or out in their beer garden and grab yourself a delicious burger and beer; the menu and beer range can been seen by clicking here. Once you are done with your meal ,you can work off your beer with a relaxing ten minute walk down the Yarra River to AAMI Park, or alternately you can catch the Number 70 tram from Flinders Street.

Upon entering the stadium, you soon realise the excitement is instantaneous and unmatched by any other sporting event; the atmosphere of a crowd that is made up of 99% Storm fans is amazing. A Storm game is somewhat of a spectacle with all the music and fireworks before and during the game - it really sets the tone for an exciting and most definitely entertaining evening.

With tickets starting from $24 for adults, $15 concession and $5 for children under 15, going to a Melbourne Storm game is a great idea when you want to go out with the family, with friends or for taking that special somebody out on an evening they will not forget. A night out to the rugby is great fun and you won't regret giving it a go.
