Found in the Bushland shire of Westleigh this park is fun for each family member, including the family dog. Shade is provided by numerous large trees throughout the park and its surrounds. Covered picnic seating areas and BBQs are spaced away from the play equipment.

There are picnic tables around different areas of the park. They are all covered with BBQs close by. The trees provide a nice back drop and extra shade. It is still peaceful to picnic here as all the play areas are located a fair distance away.

A stand out feature of this park is the pirate themed play equipment. A huge pirate ship, including the front deck, flags and lookouts sits down the hill, close to the tennis courts. This includes a twin slide which is perfect for children and their parents, a small bottom level safe section for the toddlers and even a gangplank. Just beyond this is an old fashioned hold on merry go round, which fits around four children at once.

This pirate themed equipment is actually a large pirate ship. The front decks, of which are the lower level area, are suitable for toddlers to preschool aged children. The pirate ship includes flags, a steering wheel, lookouts, bridges, climbing frames and even a gangplank.
The park is almost hidden, with most of the surrounding streets being cul de sacs, but this just makes the park more peaceful. Parking is easy despite the park being popular. Although when certain events are on, parking in adjacent streets may be necessary. At times getting your children from your car to the playground can seem daunting as it is down quite a steep hill, but for the features it offers, it is well worth it.
The dog section is very popular with benches for owners to sit on, closed in fencing and of course poop bags provided. Medium to large dogs will love the freedom this section creates, however as many dogs in there are almost as big as horses it isn't really safe for young dogs, or small breeds of dog.
You can get to this park via the Hills M2 or Pennant Hills road. Buses run from Thornleigh train station also. Check with info line: 13 51 30
