Pugsley would make a great Christmas card (image by writer)
Attention all animal lovers. Santa will be dropping into the RSPCA Wacol Animal Care Campus on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November. He's a big dog lover so bring your four legged-friends and fur-babies down to the RSPCA shelter to get a memorable Christmas photo taken.

Winners of Queensland Photographer of the Year 2017, Queensland Pet Photographer (2016 and 2017), and Australia Pet Photographer of the Year 2016, will all appear with the team at Zoo Studio to ensure that your Christmas photo is one you'll cherish for years to come.
Three different themed rooms will be available:
A photo in any of these "Christmassy" scenes will be the PAW-fect addition to your Christmas cards. An added incentive is that all proceeds go towards helping the animals in the RSPCA's care. A very worthwhile fundraiser, I'm sure all you animal lovers out there will agree with me. Did you know that the RSPCA relies on donations and community support to fund 99% of their annual costs? The festive season is unfortunately one of the busiest times of the year for the RSPCA across Queensland, so by supporting this event, you're helping to ensure they can continue to provide the best care to all creatures great and small.

While you are at the RSPCA Campus, check out these as well:
RSPCA Black Cat Cafe
Black Cat Cafe has outdoor and indoor cat enclosures, so that visitors can watch the RSPCA cats play while enjoying good food and refreshments. The cats you will see are available for adoption, desexed and health checked. By viewing them in a more natural environment you can see their personalities shine.
Black Cat Café has a range of food and drinks available with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu options. They are proud to only use humane food on their menu. This means that their whole eggs, eggs used in sauces or baked goods are cage-free. The chicken and pork also come from higher welfare systems. I can vouch for the breakfasts, coffee and cake selection. All are delicious and good value. I love an open kitchen where you can see your food being prepared. It's PURR-fect. Opening hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
9:00am to 4:00pm (Saturday and Sunday). Phone: 07 3258 5621
