RSPCA is holding multiple Santa Paws events across Australia this Christmas, to raise vital funds to help animals in need. While the majority of us are off on holidays or are celebrating Christmas within Australia, the summer season is one of the busiest times of the year for RSPCA throughout Queensland. Hence, RSPCA are holding multiple fundraising events via Santa Paws to help them make sure they continue to provide the best care possible for their animals in RSPCA shelters over Christmas.
Some food for thought.
With locations all over Queensland, there is bound to be at least one within driving distance from your house, on a date that suits you. For those living up north, there will be a Santa Paws event in Mackay on 20th November 2016(9am - 12:30pm), Kingaroy on 26th November 2016(9am - 12pm), Townsville on 27th November 2016(12pm - 5pm), Rockhampton on 3rd & 4th December 2016(10am - 4pm both days), and Gladstone on 26th November 2016(1:30pm - 5:30pm) and 11th December 2016(8am - 12:30pm). For those living in the Brisbane area, RSPCA is hosting a Christmas Markets & Festival in Wacol on 12th & 13th November 2016 (9am - 5pm both days), where you will find plenty of gifts and treats to share with your family (and your pooches) this Christmas. Other Santa Paws events in the area are in Springwood on 19th November 2016(9am - 4pm) and on the Gold Coast on 25th & 26th November 2016(9am - 5pm both days).
A snapshot of the work that RSPCA has done to date in 2015/2016.
Each Santa Paws event invites all dogs (as well as their owners) to come along and have their photos taken with the man in red himself - Santa! It's the paw-fect way to capture a family photo this Christmas, while supporting the RSPCA and the animals in their care at the same time; it's a win-win situation. Give back this festive season and rack up some good karma to get yourself on the 'good' list!
