Prep your pooches - the Million Paws Walk is coming up on Sunday 19 May 2013.

Despite being a dog owner to a 5 year old Beagle, I somehow manage to miss the Million Paws Walk every year, but this time - I've got it in my diary nice and early so I'm giving all of you the heads up too.

Zeus is so excited you can hardly wipe the smile off his face

The Million Paws Walk is not only a lovely exercise opportunity and social activity for you and your canine companion, it's also fundraising for a great cause. All funds raised go towards helping the RSPCA to care for thousands of abandoned, neglected and abused animals in Western Australia each year.

Don't have a dog? Not a problem. Grab a human companion and join in the fun. The more, the merrier.

The event village at Sir James Mitchel Park will open at 8:30am for socialising and lots of doggy fun prior to the walk at 10:00am.

You can register as an individual or get a group of friends or colleagues together and come as a team.

Zeus and I look forward to seeing you and your fury friends there.
