The RSPCA's biggest and much loved fundraising event, Million Paws Walk is on Sunday 20 May 2018. Across 16 locations in Victoria, over 15,000 people and nearly as many pooches are getting ready for this fun, family-friendly event.
Register yourself, friends and family to take part in the biggest doggie day out in Australia. All money raised through entry fees, the sale of merchandise and online fundraising helps fund the RSPCA's work in the community, including the care of more than 20,000 animals entering shelters each year. You can set even up your own fundraising page to make every step count.
Don't have a dog? That's okay, everyone is welcome to participate and walk to fight animal cruelty. The more the merrier and all furry friends will thank you.
In Melbourne, the event takes place in Albert Park between 9:00 – 14:30. The walk around beautiful Albert Park Lake commences at 10am with a sea of feet and paws.
There will be heaps of live entertainment for people and pooches as well as plenty of food trucks, with both human and canine goodies on offer, veterinary advice, dog washes and lots of exhibits and stalls.
Is your dog the Einstein of the pooch world or maybe a whizz when it comes to tricks? If so, why not enter them into one of the dog competitions on the day and be in the running to win some great prizes.
Limited parking is available around Albert Park Lake. Please ensure you purchase a parking ticket on the day from council parking machines.
