Spend Easter surrounded by man's best friend
The event will be held here at the Animal Care Campus in Wacol
Easter has always been one of my favourite events in the year and for one reason - Chocolate! I think most can agree, a day spent with family and sharing the sweet flavours of the delicious treat, is a pretty good way to spend the day. For the second year in a row, the RSPCA out at Wacol is hoping to make another big impression on the way we spend Easter, by bringing animals of all shapes, breeds and size into the mix.
On Sunday the 2nd of April, the Wacol Campus is hosting their annual Easter market with plenty of entertainment, market stalls, prizes to win, animals to play with & of course a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. The market is free to enter and will run from 10am until 4pm. You'll find the campus south-west of the Brisbane CBD in Wacol at 139 Wacol Station Road. It is a fantastic family day out and all are invited to join in.
For the kid's entertainment, they have multiple options to keep them occupied during the day. With jumping castles, face-painting, a classic Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts and so much more - the kids will be spoiled for choice! If the children like animals as well you won't miss out on being the parent of the year on the 2nd of April this year!

It is a great day also to encourage support and aim for donations from the public for what the RSPCA do each year for our beloved companions. It really is an amazing thing what the volunteers do & if you're feeling generous - know that your donation goes a long way!
An important note to mention as well is that although the event is deemed 'pet-friendly', it is not encouraged to bring animals along - as there will already be plenty of animals there! It can stop you as well from accessing certain areas of the market, and with over 50 stalls to browse from, it's a better idea to leave your furry friends at home.
If you are interested in becoming a stallholder or after any more event information, you can email the RSPCA using this link: email@example.com or call them on 07 3258 5608.
