No need to feel guilty for tucking in to 1 or 3 delicious cupcakes, it's all for a great cause. The fun and tasty RSPCA Cupcake Day is back Monday 20 August 2018. Time to dust off those cookbooks, pull on an apron, preheat the oven and get baking some heavenly treats.
So if you fancy yourself as a bit of a Masterchef, this is the perfect opportunity to show off your baking skills, all for a great cause. Cupcake Day raises valuable funds for the RSPCA in their work around animal welfare and you'll be helping them rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need all over the country.
Why not organise a bake-off with your workmates? Or gather your friends and family for a delicious morning tea. You might even choose to rope the kids in and have a bake sale at school, or how about a neighbourhood "pupcake" party?
If cupcakes are not your thing, don't let that stop you. You can whip up a batch of your favourite decadent brownies, scrumptious slices, moreish macaroons, marvellous muffins or that purrrfect cake. Everyone enjoying your goodies will also get that warm sugary glow knowing that all the money raised will rescue animals from cruelty by providing shelter, nourishment, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation.
To help you organise your own Cupcake Day, the RSPCA will send you an exclusive Cupcake Day host kit when you register. It will contain a guide, pop-up donation box, decorations, balloons, stickers and promotional posters. Click here for more information on hosting an event. Alternatively, click here for promotional resources that you can download and print.
Then all you need to do is spread the word of this pawesome event, get baking and wait for the compliments to start rolling in. Oh and don't forget to share your baking skills by hashtagging your creations with #RSPCABakeAChange
If August 20 does not suit you, why not just pick another day in August that's more convenient? Cupcakes taste delicious any day of the week.
