Help raise funds to fight animal cruelty
Help raise funds to fight animal cruelty by baking and fundraising for the RSPCA on Cupcake Day on Monday 26 October 2020.
Why not host an event at home, school or work and get baking to raise much-needed funds for the RSPCA! But the day is not just limited to cupcakes - if you have a craving for other yummy goodies, you can also get your sweet fix with biscuits, slices, quiches, muffins, doughnuts, and show off your inner Martha Stewart process.
If you can't host an event, you still get involved by encouraging a friend, family member or colleague to host instead, and you can bake up a storm to support them. You can also make a direct donation to the RSPCA. Everything helps.
The RSPCA receives thousands of animals every year in every state and territory in Australia to reclaim or rehome.
Funds raised from Cupcake Day go towards funding the RSPCA's services to keep the doors to its shelters and veterinary hospitals open, keeping its Inspectorate on the road investigating cruelty, providing emergency veterinary care to injured animals, and allowing the RSPCA to prosecute people who have been cruel to animals.
To get involved in Cupcake Day, be sure to sign up on the RSPCA Cupcake Day homepage and become a fundraiser. The site also has recipes, event planning ideas and the all-important ways to bank the funds you raise and make it a day to remember
