Trained puppies become great dogs for a better society
Who knows how to train puppies? The Royal Society for the Blind knows how to train puppies! Now you can use RSB training videos for your own puppy training at home! The RSB has made puppy training videos you can have for free! Subscribe to RSB Puppy School to receive a free video every week. Experienced RSB trainers show you how to train puppies and dogs. The series includes information from specialist vets and puppy and dog health experts.

Did you know, RSB also trains Assistance Dogs that are trained and individually matched with a child who has Autism and their family/carers. Assistance Dogs provide calming, increased independence, a great play-buddy, social contact and a range of tasks specific to their person's needs. Assistance Dogs have legal rights similar to the laws governing Guide or Hearing Dogs so they are allowed to enter public places where pet dogs are banned (supermarkets, public transport, restaurants, etc). RSB Autism Assistance Dogs will soon be available in South Australia. For more information please call 8417 5656.

Very special people are needed to be RSB Puppy Trainers! This is certainly not a role for everybody, but if you think you might have the special qualities needed why not look into it! The RSB has a shop where you can find things that can help you at home. The RSB also depends on donations to ensure they can keep up the good and necessary work that they do.
