A fast work day lunch for under $20? We've got you
It can be difficult to grab a nice, hearty and quick lunch on the go in Toowoomba's CBD. Takeaway often enough is both unhealthy and unpleasantly greasy. Cafes and restaurants can take too long and be too expensive. What's a different option?
Rozzi's, an Italian canteen style eatery, is located on the 1st floor of Grand Central's Galleria section. It's is a cafe with a variety of on-the-go options for people with a busy workday. With a variety of pizza sandwiches, pasta dishes and rolls, along with a large selection of cakes and slices, it's a good option for a workday lunch that won't break the bank or take too long in the lunch hour.
On my visit, I ordered a small bowl of bacon and mushroom pasta with a coffee, which cost me around $15. I was pleased with both the efficiency of the order and the quality of the food, as it arrived steaming hot and delicious within ten minutes. While the coffee wasn't my absolute favourite, I'd recommend Rozzi's Grand Central for a weekday lunch when you're in a hurry. The food was delicious and their pasta dishes are also available in different portion sizes for those who want lighter fare.
