Go on an Easter egg hunt and win prizes
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron or RQYS is having a function this Easter and it will be a day full of family fun, food and a very special furry friend.
It will start at 11.00 am and it will be a very eggstraordinary Easter day out. It will be held on Sunday 14th April 2019 from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm. It will be on at the RQYS, 578 Royal Esplanade, Manly.
This will be Manly's biggest Easter egg hunt and the actual hunt for the eggs will start at 11:30 am. If you win this hunt you will receive a brand new scooter. This has been donated by EEnvy Scooters, who have branches in most states of Australia.
Directly following the hunt, a very special guest will be taking time out from his busy schedule of delivering eggs. He will be stopping off at the yacht club to hand out some delicious chocolate bunnies.
There is also going to be a Bonnet Parade after the kids get their eggs off the bunny. There will be prizes for the best-dressed bonnet'd buck and doe so be as creative as you can.
To make the day even more interesting, there will be a traditional egg and spoon race on the lawn! In between all the excitement, you can have fun on the jumping castles or the various water activities that will be available around the Squadron.
And of course, there will be food other than the Easter chocolate that we all love to have! Their normal restaurant and cafe meals will not be available on the day, however, there will be several food options available on the day - these are sure to please!
There are also things for parents or older people to do. They are going to be giving away an Easter Hamper. Every purchase you make in the bar gives you a ticket to go into the draw to win this hamper!
The event is free to attend however you can register your child and book your table by calling them on 3396 8666 or via email: email@example.com
