Welcome to the ! This year's exhibition showcases the incredible talent and creativity of the members across six sections of entry.Section 1 features stunning paintings in acrylic and oil painting, while Section 2 highlights beautiful watercolour paintings. Section 3 has captivating photography, digital paintings, and digital manipulations.Those interested in sculpture and 3D art can explore Section 4, while Section 5 showcases impressive drawings in any media. Finally, Section 6 offers an exciting mix of 2D artworks in a variety of other media, including pastel, printmaking, encaustic, and resin.We invite you to experience the beauty and diversity of the members' artwork in this year's exhibition. Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in the world of art through the eyes of our talented local artists.The exhibition is on show from Wednesday, 14th of June to Sunday, 23rd of July at Petrie Terrace Gallery, 3/162 Petrie Terrace, Brisbane.Gallery Opening Hours: Wednesday - Sunday 10:00 am - 3:30 pm.Entry is FREE.[BREAK]Special EventsThe Members Annual Opening and Awards Event is on June 17th at 1 pm. Or come along to Artist Talk: The Pre-Raphaelites on Sunday, 2nd of July from 2 pm to 4 pm. Take a closer look at the soulful ladies and a nostalgic version of the Middle Ages as painted by Pre-Raphaelites in the Victorian era in this illustrated lecture by David Henderson. Turning their backs on the upheavals of the industrial revolution, the Pre-Raphaelites explored a world of imagination, mood and psychological introspection, and as such can be considered the first modern artists.Tickets $15 with afternoon tea will also be provided.
