The Queensland Figurative 2024

The Queensland Figurative is a prestigious, non-acquisitive competition that invites Queensland artists to showcase their talent through paintings that thoughtfully integrate the human figure into their compositions. This is a unique brief and is an opportunity for artists to display their skills, and for the winner, the top prize of $10,000 to progress their career.

With a prize pool of $2,500, this award aims to spotlight Queensland's emerging fine art champions. Young artists are encouraged to submit paintings or drawings of subjects that have been created and observed from life.
