The Royal Melbourne Show needs no introduction. It's an iconic event that families and especially the kids look forward to, even though it can be a bit daunting. With around half a million people flocking to the show each year, this is one of the largest events in Victoria. This year you can enjoy the ALL NEW Royal Melbourne Show with an all-new layout and program of activities to explore. Plan your own perfect day at the show with the Daily Program.

Running from Sat 21 Sep to Tue 1 Oct 2019 from 9am to 9pm at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale, get your TICKETS to an unforgettable day HERE as there are memories to be made. With the online saver from now until 9pm 20 Sep 2019 you can save up to 20% off your tickets. RACV Members and Group Bookings of 20 plus, save up to 25%, head in after 5pm and save up to 50%. Ride passes must be purchased online and in conjunction with your admission ticket.


Watch out for the Jurassic Creatures from 9.30am to 7pm each day. Watch them move, hear them roar as they come alive at the Show in an interactive walkthrough of animatronic dinosaurs, including everyones favourite, the Tyrannosaurus Rex. One of ten all new experiences, here are the other nine.

Elton John Experience - tribute band performing 3 times a day on the Channel 7 Entertainment Precinct
Team Isuzu D-Max Precision Driving Demo - 2 precision driving demos each day of hot laps, high speeds and more

Angus Steakhouse - a place to find the perfect steak, specialty steak and more at a restaurant-quality sit-down meal
World's Largest Showbag Pavilion - from 9.30am to 9pm in a brand new space with more showbags (364 varieties) than before. Browse Online
Up Close & Personal with the Alpacas - up to 200 of the nations best alpacas at the Black Hawk Dogs Pavilion on the last 2 days of the Show
Spotlight Makers Pavilion - more than 4000 creative talents and a daily program of free demonstrations from 9.30am to 7pm, including a renowned sculptor (Colombian born Alexander Esenarro Santafe) who will sculpt throughout 11 days of the Show to bring his work to life
The Fury - an ultimate thrillseeker ride and more at 3 exciting carnival precincts. For the Daredevils looking for the biggest buzz, head to the Coca-Cola Thrillseekers Carnival and for families there's the Family Adventure Carnival and the Kid's Carnival.


The newly renovated Spotlight Makers Pavilion is the home of art, craft and cookery displays and one of the most popular pavilions at the Show. Some of the new displays and activities are the introduction of apple pie judging live on stage and a creative display of showcased themed pieces surrounding The Mighty Angus Beef Cattle Feature Breed. This is but the tip of the iceberg with so much more happening at the show. There's Rides with 2 for 1 happy hour rides every day from 10-11am that'll admit 2 people to any ride at the Show! Then there are the many animals up-close experiences to have like milking and sheep shearing and more.

For those leaning towards the Equestrienne Turnout, see the nation's best horses and riders as they strive for blue ribbon glory. Who doesn't love the Tastes Pavilion! Take your tastebuds on a tour of some of Australia's freshest and best food and drink! Best of all, the unmissable live entertainment. filled with live music, spectacular stunts, unique performances and so much more, all included in the price of your ticket.

The Meadow is all about relaxing and enjoying live music and taking a break with delicious street food. Enjoy some of Melbourne's best local performers in the warm undercover space. Music will be on daily from 12pm-2pm, 3.30pm-5.30pm and 6.30pm-8.30pm. Take a happy snap on The Meadow's beautiful Garden Swing and enjoy some of the best eats like 400 Gradi's wood-fired pizzas, Biggie Smalls, The Herald Sun Coffee Cart serving Coffex and 6Ft6 wines from the much loved silver bullet caravan from Frankie FroVino.
