Royal Far West has been providing health services to children living in rural and remote New South Wales for 90 years. It was awarded Winner - 2013 Premier's Award for Excellence in Public Service Delivery in recognition of its commitment to this service.
To achieve its vision of "healthy country children" and mission of "outstanding contribution to the health and well-being of children in regional NSW", Royal Far West works in partnership with families and local health and education providers to complement existing services within the community.
Every year, thousands of ill country children benefit from their integrated clinical and educational care, but many more children are in need of their help.
To celebrate Royal Far West's 90th anniversary, come along to their open day which will be held on Saturday 6 December at 19/21 South Steyne, Manly NSW 2095. Royal Far West is located right across from the beautiful Manly Beach, a wonderful setting for this event and, importantly, a special place for rural children undergoing medical treatment.
In addition to various interactive activities, visitors will have the opportunity to take tours and learn about the facilities. There will also be entertainment, live music and delicious food celebrating the bush and the beach!
This promises to be a great day out for the whole family and entry to the event is free.
