Key things to look out for if you're planning a romantic date at the Botanical Gardens.
I know many of you may think that the Botanical Gardens is a super romantic spot for a date, full of flowers, nature, a serene stillness and a sense of wonder. However before you go, if you want to appear as the dashing gentleman or planning princess, you really must heed my words of warning.
First and foremost, do check when the gardens close. It may sound silly, but planning a romantic date just to end in the beautiful gardens only to find the gates shut can be a disastrous end to your night.
Next, if either you or your loved one attracts bugs like a magnet, be the hero and bring along some bug repellent before your date ends up being some bug's lunch and storms off scratching and itching.
Last but not least, if you're planning a picnic on those lush green grounds, be aware of pesky ibis birds that come to steal your meal. Although these birds may be a nuisance it gives you a chance to play the saviour as you chase them away!
So if you take heed to my warnings three, then you will be able to have a great time at the Botanical Gardens, as it is a beautiful place to go. The grounds are large so you can spend many a hour walking through hand in hand, everything is lush and green and filled with flowers and it is incredibly peaceful.
The Botanical Gardens is a lovely place to go, but it is lovelier when you don't have to worry about the little details.
Enjoy your romantic date and in all your worrying about making things perfect, don't forget to kiss your date at the end!
