The countdown has begun. The Royal Adelaide Show will be here from the 1st to the 10th of September 2017. Each year approximately half a million people visit the show, making it the largest ticketed event in South Australia. As usual, there will be lots of things to see and do this year.
Entertainment abounds at the show. In the Main Arena, there will be Motorcycle Tunnel of Fire with world record holder stuntman Ian Jamieson, the FPV World Cup drone racing, Isuzu Team D-Max Precision Driving, Harness Racing, OZ Rocketman David Clarke, RAA Fireworks, V8 Ute Challenge, Showtime Freestyle Motor X Team, and State Young Farmer Challenge.
In the Golden North Stage, there will be the Zimbabwe Brothers dynamic acrobatic troupe, DIVA Live, The SA Police Band, and Gen Z. In the Western Entertainment Arena, there will be Pig Racing & Diving. In The Kingsway, there will be the signature World's Strongest Man Strongman Truck Pull event. And heaps more for the kids such as Peppa Pig, Jimmy Giggle, Emma & Lachy, and PAW Patrol.
The Taste SA showcase of quality SA grown and produced products will include Aunty Joan's Gourmet Toffee, Barossa Fine Foods, Frantic Whisk, Kytons Bakery, Olives SA, Slo Moe's, Spring Gully Foods, and Yummy Bee Honey. There will be tastings and recipes as well as opportunities to purchase.
The Dairy Food Hall range of dairy products will include B-d Farm Paris Creek, Golden North, Andersen's, Gelista, Mini Melts, Wendys, Jalna Dairy Foods and Westhaven Dairy, The Yoghurt Shop, and Farmers Union Iced Coffee. Cheese, yoghurt and ice cream samples will be available.
The Goyder Pavilion area will present gastronomic delights such as Chilli Factory, Tea Tonic, Pudding Lane, and Say Cheese. And, of course, not forgetting all the animals, rides and showbags as well as the iconic Yellow Brick Road, so put it in your diary now. Tickets can be pre-purchased online via their website.
