The 2017 Royal Adelaide Show promises to be bigger and better than ever with many new attractions, displays and presentations, as well as many of the old favourites. This year's 242th show will run for 10 days, including two full weekends, opening at 9.00 am on Friday 1st September and closing at 9.30 pm on Sunday 10th September.
There will, of course, be lots of things you can spend money on at the show, including rides, sideshows, show bags and products, but there are also hundreds of free things to do at the show, including activities and displays to watch and take part in. Wood Cutting and Pig Racing and Diving are always extremely popular and the main arena provides a constant kaleidoscope of events and activities to watch, including evening fireworks displays.
There are so many freebies available that it is possible, once you've paid your entrance fees, to have a great day out without spending another cent. Check to
Show website and
Facebook Page for suggestions.
