A peaceful spot in a local area
Rowville Lakes

Rowville Lakes encompasses three lakes; Sutton Lake, Hill Lake & Cogley Lake. This is a nice peaceful, quiet spot for a walk, fishing, or just wanting to take some time out for yourself.

Rowville Lakes Waterbirds

You will always see ducks and other waterbirds when you come here, and depending what time of year, possibly even ducklings and chicks. There is an island in the middle of one of the lakes that is a bird sanctuary.

Rowville Lakes Playground

There is a playground that features a slide, swing set and other play equipment. This makes it child-friendly. It's worth noting however, that ducks and birds are not to be fed. There are weeping willow trees and water lilies at one end of the lake.

Rowville Lakes

Fish are regularly caught in the lakes and it's not unusual to see people with their fishing rods. The lakes are stocked with trout by the Department of Fisheries each year. This quiet, secluded area with access 24/7 is a nice local place to visit.
