Enjoy a free coffee while assisting Australian Farmers
Everyone loves a birthday and when that birthday is something you have developed from your hard work and future dreams, it makes the celebration very rewarding.
Round Table Coffee in Gawain Road, Bracken Ridge is celebrating their second birthday this year and on Monday 26th September, anyone with a current Round Table Coffee VIP Loyalty Card will receive a free cup of coffee. Flavours, Soy/Lactose free, and Decaf will be at an extra cost as per usual practice.
Apart from providing great meals and beverages, Round Table Coffee have also been about raising money for charity. Since opening they have raised over $5,000 for groups which include World Greatest Shave and have supplied goods to emergency efforts and local community fundraisers and events. They have also sustained an on-going World Vision sponsorship. This year their fundraising goes to support the drought-affected Australian Farmers with the Buy a Bale fundraising collection. A gold coin donation to this cause will get you a free coffee on Monday 26th September. Owners, Allie & Jeremy feel strongly about giving something back to the community.
They are also mindful of the environment and at the end of each week all used coffee grounds go home to be added to their garden compost. I love how recycling starts so many processes over again.
The character of Round Table Coffee is seen in the decorate outlay of the shop. A growing collection of ornaments, knick-knacks, teaspoons, cups and utensils are positioned around the walls and shelves and gives the shop a unique style. Also a great talking point for the customers. They are so well known that even Santa Claus drops in around Christmas time to chat to the customers.
