After a taste of France? Destination: Roule Galette French CrÍperie. Secreted away in a back alley off Flinders Lane, this mini marvel stands, consistently creating awe-inspiring crepes and galettes.

Reading the menu will send all your tastebuds into a dancing frenzy, making the choice even harder.

The Anne-So dessert crepe comes with a generous portion of ice-cream, decadently drizzled with thick, rich chocolate and sprinkled with flaked almonds.

Roule Galette also have a variety of savoury crepes or 'Galettes'. This is an authentic dish from Bretagne in France. The pancakes are made from buckwheat flour and are filled with your choice of savoury delicacies.

The 3 Cheese Galette presents an indulgent order filled with Bleu d'Auvergne, Morbier from Jura and goats cheese. If you are in a decidedly French mood, you may dabble with Galette Escargot, containing white sauce, garlic, parsley and 8 snails. A selection of French and Australian wine and beer are available to accompany your meal.

If you have read this wistfully, wishing that the slightest nibble of a gluten-laden products wouldn't send your insides into spasms, fear not! There are, in fact gluten free options available for your eating pleasure. Roule Galette pride themselves on being able to adapt their recipes to most food allergies.

For larger groups, the new Roule Galette on Rebecca Walk can sit up to 70 people. Either way, you will be receiving mouth-watering and authentic French crepes fresh from the griddle.
