Gluttony and Highwire Entertainment present Rouge running as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival at Gluttony: The Octagon until March 17th 2019. Rouge is an adult circus which features a cocktail of amazing entertainers, all rolled into a 70 minute show.
Rouge is unlike any circus I've seen before, presenting jaw-dropping entertainment, hysterical laughter and even moments where you think did that really just happen? Only in The Octagon tent at 8pm will you see a half woman, half lamp performing a glow in a dark hula-hoop routine. Having seen many circus hula-hoop artists, I have never seen one like this.
Only at Rouge will you witness a male on male aerial artistry routine that presents a love / hate relationship. This was incredible with so much passion during the fight scenes. You will see a woman with a whip train three men dressed as rabbits. It is hosted by a female cabaret singer dressed all in red who steals the crowd with an opera spectacular with a little surprise. This opera has one singer and two helpers to help hit those high notes.
A male & female take to the stage next with a sexy hoop routine where they stand inside a large hoop and their bodies and twirled around and along the floor like breakdancing inside a hula-hoop. The duo then approaches the hoop together one on each side and twirl it is so beautiful, like when you are so in love it spun your whole world out of control.
An all-girls trio took the stage with a routine dedicated to loving yourself as you are and it was so powerful with dance moves and fearless poses that were amazing to watch. This is more than a Fringe show, it celebrates strong women, passionate love and healthy body image.
The sexy trio performs tricks which look effortless. The lady walks on the two males heads and flipped through the air so lightly as if she's floating. The males swing her like a skipping rope and she makes it look so smooth. This show has incredible performers, catchy songs and amazing dance moves.
