ANZAC Day has always held a special place on the Rottnest Island calendar. With a long military history, commemorate all Australians who have served and continue to serve our great nation. Join in to reflect and mark this important day of remembrance as the sun rises over the ocean on the foreshore of Thomson Bay. Everyone is welcome but you need to book your ticket to attend as capacity is strictly limited. A dusk service will also be held on Saturday 24 April at 5.45pm. 6am - Dawn Service on the Thomson Bay foreshore lawn
7am - Gunfire Breakfast in the Settlement Mall; delicious bacon and egg rolls.
Explore the History of Rottnest - A guided tour
Oliver HIll Gun & Tunnel Tours - Explore this fully restored relic of Rottnest's WWII military history. At your leisure from 8.30-11.30am. Adults $9, Children $4, Family $20. Catch the complimentary bus from the Main Bus Stop.
Bickley Battery Trail Tours - FREE - tours depart regularly from 8.30am until 11.30am.
Wadjemup Museum - Newly renovated it shares the wide-ranging stories of the Island. Open 8am to 3.30pm behind the General Store. Entry is by gold coin donation.
Ferry Travel - Early morning ferry services departing Fremantle and Hillarys will be available to get you to the Island in time for the ANZAC Day service on Sunday 25 April.
