Book lovers right across Melbourne must be in a frenzy, because second hand books fairs, or in this case 'book bonanzas', are popping up across the suburbs offering a huge range and heaps of great titles all at bargain basement prices.

For residents on the Mornington Peninsula, here is a bargain book bonanza happening right in your very own backyard. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Mt Eliza, the Scout Hall will be filled to overflowing on the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017. Organisers are boasting thousands of books, some even 'valuable' and 'collectable,' at rock bottom prices. Every genre and subject will be covered as you search for plenty of winter weather delights; heaps of fiction, biographies, cooking, sport, design, travel, music and more.

There's nothing better on a cold, wintry weekend or a storm-ravished night than bunking down beneath a blanket with a good book. Stockpile here at a fraction of the cost then when you're done consider donating back to your local opp shop. As with all Rotary projects, proceeds of the Book Bonanza are being ploughed into the community in support of local clubs and community works and events. It's nice to see what goes around comes around.

The book sale will be open from 10am to 3pm on both Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017 at the Scout Hall, John Butler Reserve, Ranelagh Drive, Mount Eliza. Entry to the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza Book Bonanza is free.
