Secret Kiddie Beach North of the River
Rosslare Park, popularly known as the Mindarie Kids Beach is a purpose-built shallow water beach near the Mindarie Marina.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, there's a convenient parking area with a toilet block and outdoor shower.

Kids will love the shallow water, which extends 20 metres or more, and is populated with the local estuary fish and a friendly family of ducks. It's also a great place to launch a paddleboard or canoe for a journey along the water towards the marina.

Be sure to bring a net and bucket to explore the wildlife in the rocks along the edges of the beach or stroll down Clarecastle Retreat for a view of the beachside mansions.

The park is the gateway to walking paths and secluded beaches along the Mindarie Coastal walk, so the area is filled with locals walking their dogs or meeting up for a swim.

It lacks the usual business of popular beaches, with traffic limited to one residential street and the car park, providing a safe place to cross the road to the beach.

You can set up on the picnic areas provided, or on the grassed area under the trees for a day of safe, kid-friendly beach fun.
