Rosie O'Grady's is the most popular and authentic Irish pub in Perth. Located in Northbridge, it's a pub with great atmosphere and many live events. They always show the Irish rugby and football when it's on, and often stay open late or open early for a live game.
It's the most popular Irish bar for Perth's ever increasing Irish population, so that must be saying something good. They serve sixteen different draught beers, including Guinness and Killkenny ale, two of Ireland's most popular drinks. They also serve a wide range of Australian lagers and beers including Swan Draught, Fat Yak, Squire's Golden and New Zealand's Boag's draught.
They serve great food, including genuine a great Guinness and Beef Pie and traditional Irish bread. The service is excellent, I was served by a genuine Irishman, which added to the general 'craic' of the venue. The prices are reasonable, including a backpacker special every Tuesday and Sunday, offering pints at $6.80 and special meals at $7.
They have a lot of live music events, many of which involve traditional Irish music as well as local acts. A great place for a Sunday session if you're on Perth for the weekend.
