So as I was writing this article, I found out that this lovely little place has had to close down due to rezoning, however, they are now having a massive closing down sale for the foreseeable future, so head on in anyway and give it a go before it’s gone.

It is part Café, part garden accessories, part modern knick-knacks and part antique wares. It has an enormous range of all things vintage, including mirrors, lamps, jewellery, toys, oh the toys, bedroom furniture, kitchen accessories and oodles more. It has a lovely large veranda with the espresso bar, where you can place your lunch or coffee order and can also peruse the cakes. Then you can carry on through to the large shop and get carried away, losing yourself in the whimsical world of many a kitsch or contemporary treasure. The range of old school toys is fascinating and makes you feel like a kid again, and after revelling in your childhood memories you can gaze over the antique jewellery and envisage being taken back to that old fashioned glamour.

There are toasted sandwiches, focaccias or a big burger for lunch, as well as, cakes and Devonshire tea available, plus they do a high tea, which I would be interested in sampling. If you’re not one for coffee, there is a substantial range of exotic flavoured tea for the sipping pleasure of the tea lovers, like me, out there. Canisters of the tea are also sold in the shop along with jams, chutneys and relishes. There really does feel like there is something for everyone, young and old, to be fascinated by and to enjoy.
