Rosebud's annual kite flying fiesta
March 9th and 10th marks the award winning Rosebud Kite Festival, held at the end of Jetty Rd., Rosebud Foreshore, on the Mornington Peninsula.

Expect an event filled with colourful unique kites circling the sky, with performances from kite flying experts from around Australia and internationally, visiting Rosebud to parade their kites in the annual festival.

See some of the world's largest inflatable kites made in New Zealand, and 'ground dwellers' which are air inflatable pieces that are tethered to the ground.

This year, Peninsula Hot Springs are hosting spring filled spa barrels to bathe in as you watch the Kites in action.

Plus, they'll be a program filled with family entertainment, including kite making workshops, circus skills, kite boarding (weather permitting), food stalls, roving clowns, live music and dancing.

Sunday is the main festival with activities starting at 11am and going through to 5pm.

Bring your friends and family down to the Mornington Peninsula for the weekend, to enjoy this extraordinary kite flying fiesta, and see Rosebud's foreshore filled with a sea of colour.

A great family day out.
