Back for a 2nd year, the vibrant Rosé Street Festival will have you on cloud wine with plenty of Rosé tasting stalls and Rosé-themed merriment in Sydney's east. With harbourside views, it makes for the perfect spring day out.

Hosted by Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, this dedication to summer's iconic pink drink will see over 20 leading Australian and international producers making it an affair to remember, or not, depending on how much you drink.

Spilling into Military Road and pouring their best pink drops are Château Roquefeuille, Mateus Rosé, Tractorless Vineyard, Riot Wine, Pierre D'Amour, Santa Margherita, Mirabeau and Vineful, plus many more. For those that like their Rosé super cold, then the frosé slushies from the Frosé Bar will have you chilled and, best of all, you can get one for free up until 1pm on the day. Whilst Rosé is the star attraction here, you'll also be able to sample some wonderful Blossom Rosé Sparkling Apple Cider and Rosé Spritz from Batch & Co.

For sweet toothers, there's pink desserts from the revamped Watsons Bay street food cart that include macarons and Rosé fairy floss. Be sure to sample the fruity coconut pops from Proud & Punch that make a great cooling palate cleanser. Lots of savoury food will be available too, from tacos to burgers and charcoal BBQ to fresh ceviche (a Peruvian seafood dish).

Live music will have you swaying throughout the day, if you're not already swaying from the wine. Acoustic sounds will be followed by the Aperol DJ cart from 3pm, allowing you to dance into the sunset to your favourite tunes.

Some Instagram-worthy stalls will make for some great pictures, taking advantage of the views. Stop by the Amalia Swing at the Château Roquefeuille stall and raise your glass for the perfect shot or bring your pooch along on the day to the Bone Dry Rosé stand for a Polaroid memento with your furry love and grab a free piccolo to take home.

This poppin' party also has some fun games and competitions with prizes there for the picking, literally. Pop by Mink Pink's giant claw machine to test your skills as you try to scoop up sunglasses, discount codes and the chance to win a $1,000 wardrobe.

Entry for this day beginning at 11am is free and it's running an extra 2hrs this year, finishing at 7pm. Two tasting packages are available, as follows –

  • Standard pre-sale ticket for $32 per person – includes 9 wine tasting tokens and a Rosé tasting glass to use on the day and take home
  • The BFF ticket for $49 – includes 18 wine tasting tokens and up to two Rosé tasting glasses

  • These pre-purchase tickets are the best value for money and can be purchased here . It's recommended to get in early as they will sell out. You'll also avoid the queues on the day. Alternatively, upon entry you can purchase a tasting glass for $7 and wine tasting tokens for $3.50 each.

With all the essentials of a street party, you're sure to have a rosy good time. Enjoy the day further by taking the ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay wharf, only seconds from the entrance to the hotel. It's the prettiest way to get there, with stunning views along the way, and only takes 15minutes. For other transport options, click here .

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is no stranger to putting on stylish events and this one will be blooming in pink, so put 27 October in your diary, grab your friends and rosé the day away beachside at this gorgeous spring celebration.
