Rosa is a small authentic style tapas bar that is proving very popular with Lambton locals. Opening late November 2020, they have been dealing with a raft of changing COVID-19 restrictions with smiling faces and a quality product.
The menu is comprised of small and larger tapas dishes that are perfect for sharing some of which are suitable for vegetarians and those on gluten-free diets. Additionally, there is a blackboard for interesting unique daily specials such as the ceviche of prawns and fish with passionfruit.
Inspired by the owner's love of Barcelona and its food culture the cool small bar is decorated in teal and white with accents of timber and metal. The seating varies from cosy booths to intimate tables for two or barstools overlooking the open kitchen.
The two chefs have Spanish backgrounds and are passionate about this lighter relaxed style of dining. The drinks list is extensive and complements the food. Sangria jugs, cocktails, local and imported wines sit alongside local craft beers as well as Spanish and Czech offerings.
Bookings are essential due to limited seating and are time-limited to ninety minutes. If you have a large group or need more time, it would be best to give them a call. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, they also operate a takeaway service.
As with everything in these days of COVID-19, it is essential to be aware of changes to operating hours and offerings due to government restrictions.
