Watch the sweeping children's story, Room on the Broom in a live stage performance in Brisbane and Melbourne this April.

How the cat purred and how the witch grinned,
As they sat on their broomstick and flew through the wind.
(/extract from "Room on the Broom)

See as friendship and family unfold as a happy and kind witch invites a collection of animals to join her on her broomstick in this stage show in Brisbane and Melbourne this April. What could possibly happen?

The much-loved children's book written by English writer Julia Donalson Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler (Award winning illustrator), Room on the Broom, will be brought to life. Through the engaging story, we meet a dog, a bird, and a frog who become unlikely friends with a good witch and want to catch a lift on her broomstick. But will there be any room on the broom?

The book was first published by Macmillan in 2001 and has since been made into an animated film, narrated by Simon Pegg and starring the voices of Martin Clunes, Rob Brydon, Sally Hawkins, David Walliams , Gillian Anderson and Timothy Spall. The animated film was nominated for an Academy Award for best short animated film in 2013.
