Event: -
Watch these movies from a rooftop in Perth
Picture this - sitting on a deck chair or snuggled in a bean bag on a warm, balmy night, relaxing, sipping a drink while you and a friend are high above Perth city watching a movie!

If this sounds at all tempting, once again you can sit on a rooftop and watch movies, and these are the latest releases for programme 3 of Rooftop Movies.

As mentioned in my original article giving you the first programme, this movie festival returns for its sixth year, and the pop-up movie destination is home to the following:

Spectacular city sunset views
Comfortable bean bags
Cold beverages
Awesome food

Golden Globe Winners Hit Rooftop Movies
Programme 3 of Rooftop Movies is now out and it's oozing with Golden Globe winners and Oscar-buzzing films!

There could not be a better way to enjoy these must-see movies than seeing them at an evening out at the only cinema in Perth that is six-stories above the busy hustle and bustle of the city.

This new programme will run from Tuesday 30th January to Sunday 25th February, 2018 and there is one more programme after this one ends.

It starts off with:
The Florida Project, which is tipped to be an Oscar Award winner, stars a Golden Globe-nominated actor Willem Dafoe. This is a deeply moving film with a look at childhood and it follows a six-year-old girl and her rebellious mother over a summer season.

Other movies that you can watch in this outstanding environment are:
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which is the winner of four Golden Globe statues, including Best Picture. This one is about a woman whose daughter is murdered and the killer has not been found.

Also, screening will be the following:
* The Shape of Water
The Post
Call Me by Your Name
All of these have also been nominated for awards.

Gary Oldman plays Sir Winston Churchill in Joe Wright's movie, Darkest Hour. This move has won the Golden Globe for the Best Actor and Oldman has played the role of Churchill to perfection.
La La Land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, is about a couple who are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love.
The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman, is inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum. It is an original musical celebrating the beginning of showbusiness. It tells of a man who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

This eclectic programme will also see masterpieces from yesteryear including the following:
The Shawshank Redemption
Especially for Valentine's Day, you will be able to see that beautiful move, The Notebook, which is one I can see over and over and still cry buckets, so BYO tissues!
