On Sunday the 29th of July 2018, The City of Melbourne will be holding a free family-friendly open day at Ron Barassi Snr Park in Docklands. The event will run from 11am-2pm and will include a range of activities, live music and more.
Some of the highlights of this year's open day include:
City of Melbourne's Park Rangers Education Trailer and Tree Giveaway Come and visit the rangers to learn about the creatures that live in the city and try out the 'Touch and Feel' boxes to guess what's inside. They will also be giving away native plants as part of National Tree Day celebrations.

Sport and Recreation activities There will be a number of free activity sessions on the day for adults and children aged 4 and above.
Free Sri Lankan Buffet Lunch Rotary Docklands will be organising a free buffet lunch, with a tasty selection of Sri Lankan cuisine. The food will be available from the canteen between 12pm-2pm, and there will be vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.
Live Music Brass and percussion ensemble, 'What the Funk' will be performing live during the day. The band will be putting their own spin on some popular pop tunes.
Ron Barassi Snr Park is located at the end of Docklands Drive, in Docklands.
