Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!

Just to say 'I love you'
A special Birthday coming up? Christmas just around the corner? Just wanting to say, 'I love you'? Whether you're cautiously counting the money in your Piggy Bank or looking for something a bit more on the extravagant side, I've got you covered. Nothing says 'I love you' more than sharing a unique adventure with your significant other.
1. Jet Ski as a Couple in Noosa
River Circuit or Ocean Tour? - Image: Noosa Jetski Hire FB Page
Noosa Jetski Hire offer River Circuits or Ocean Tours - a fun way to be together - you can ride pillion and hang on for the ride of your life. The 'River Circuit' route is on the Noosa River and is a safe and controlled environment, whereas the 'OceanTour' experience will be one not easily forgotten - into the pristine Laguna Bay, where you can jump the waves of the Noosa Bar on the way out. The Ocean Tour takes you around the Noosa National Park, where dolphins can be spotted, across to the bay to the Noosa North Shore and then back to the river mouth. A perfect way to see everything Noosa has to offer at high-speed - sounds like a whirlwind sight-seeing tour to me!
Noosa Jetski are at 256 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, Queensland Click here for more info.
This is an activity that has long been on my 'wish' list so why not organise a two hour Beginners Kitesurfing lesson (unless, of course you've already mastered this fun activity) for you and your partner at Ocean Addicts at 103 Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore. This is sure to be a fun, competitive way to spend a day outdoors in the sun and show off your prowess to your partner and let them know how it's done - they'll be impressed with how you can handle a kite in the water.
If you're on a shoe-string budget then Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World serve a delicious Devonshire Cream Tea, which includes two scones with jam, cream and tea or coffee. While you're there, why don't you visit the Bird World for an up close and very personal experience with some of the most exotic and colourful birds one can find - it truly is quite a unique encounter and a lovely one to share.

Who doesn't love seafood? Unless of course you have an allergy to crustaceans then this is a definite no-no. Book a table for two and share a seafood platter. Fish on Parkyn have a Local Seafood Platter for two, which consists of Oysters, Moreton Bay bug, Mooloolaba king prawns, Hervey Bay scallops, fried calamari, beer battered fish and chips with cocktail and tartare sauces, and wedges of lemon. What could be more romantic than dining by candlelight and taking a romantic stroll on the beach in lieu of dessert.
If you're feeling a bit flush, either with money or love, and really want to impress your partner, how about doing a Beach Tandem Skydive together. Sunshine Coast Skydivers offer you breathtaking views of Caloundra's spectacular beaches from Bribie Island to Mooloolaba; to Moreton Island and inland to the Glasshouse Mountains. Safety is this company's first priority and all their equipment is certified and up-to-date.
An awesomely memorable occasion, definitely an adrenalin-pumping experience…and not suggested for the faint-hearted!
If you're both into the great outdoors and love to be more energetic than most, how about abseiling the Glasshouse Mountains. The company WorthWild offer a half day (four hour session) of abseiling in one of the Sunshine Coast's most scenic locations, promising to give you plenty of practice abseils on the upper twenty meter slopes, before giving you the opportunity to abseil the fifty meter drop from the top of Mt Ngungun. All the abseils are accessible by walking tracks, so no climbing, just the fun of abseiling.
Sunreef Mooloolaba is the first company offering swimming with whales right here on the Sunshine Coast. What a magnificent experience this will be, swimming with these huge, gentle mammals of the deep. The boat leaves from Mooloolaba and once a whale is spotted, the boat is put into neutral approximately one hundred metres away from the whale; if the conditions are deemed to be safe by the trained crew, the swimmers are permitted into the water holding on to a floating line attached to the boat. This is a totally natural experience and will be determined by the whale's own terms, who are naturally curious creatures. A life-changing experience - one that you and your partner will remember forever.
Sunreef Mooloolaba are at The Wharf Mooloolaba, 123 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, Queensland. For more information, click here.
