is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with wine production and in particular, to visit grape growers and winemakers in and around Beechworth.

To be held on Saturday 19th May from 10 AM to 4 PM, your day will start in the towns Cellar Door Wine Store in Ford Street with coffee and pastries before heading off to visit producers in the district, some of whom are not normally open to the public.

Along the way, you'll enjoy some great country cooking by highly-credentialed local chef Sally Lynch and winemaking tales & tips from local experts as well as tastings from the likes of Sentio Wines, Fighting Gully Road, Domenica Wines, Rodda Wines and Schmolzer and Brown.

is organised by Beechworth Barrel Tours operated by Sally Lynch and business partner Scott Daintry of The Empire Hotel.

Sally Lynch is well known throughout the region for her Taste Trekkers cooking school and food tour business.

Tickets for cost $242.65 and are available online at www.eventbrite.com.au

This is a great opportunity for wine enthusiasts to find out what goes into setting up a successful vineyard and what it takes to produce a great drop.

Beechworth is 285 Kilometres northeast of Melbourne, just over a 3-hour drive via the Hume Freeway/M31 and the C315.
