You’ll be on your way to being the next queen of romance
Romance writing is a genre that has remained popular since Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Today, the market for romance is in the billions.
The Katherine Susannah Pritchard Writers Centre are offering members and non-members a chance to learn more about this fascinating style of writing from a master story-teller, Annie Gracie, the internationally well-known historical romance writer, author of The Stolen Princess.
Annie Gracie will run a Workshop; The Art of Romance Writing on the 20th August, from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
This workshop will teach you the nuances of the market, the reasons why readers read romance, the difference between genre and romantic fiction, the myth of 'the formula', and how to create a strong premise, memorable scenes and characters to care about.
This workshop is part of a larger Romance Writers Retreat which runs from the 19th to the 25th August.
Sign up for this workshop with Anne Gracie and you'll be well on your way to becoming the next wealthy queen of romance.
