Once again, the city of Rockingham welcomes the Perth Symphony Orchestra Big Band and Strings and their 'Romance on the Green' concert.
In 2017, for the concert's first edition, the PSO charmed us with movie themes. Juggling everything from Puccini to Queen and James Bond to West Side Story, these WA artists and musicians shone under the guidance of energetic and passionate conductor, Jessica Gerthin. It wasn't long until the whole audience was under their spell.
What's on this year?
Brilliant conductor Jessica Gethin returns with the 49 musician Big Band and Strings ensemble ready to enchant the green again. With selections from Queen, Adele, INXS and Led Zeppelin, the line-up sounds more than promising.
As they say, the more the merrier. You can be certain that the PSO will surprise us with performances by some of Western Australia's best artists, including Sophie Foster, Matt Allen and soprano, Harriet Marshall
