Dine in or take away
South Australia has seemingly undergone a bánh mě thịt nguội revolution and I loved visiting there recently. Drive in any direction and there was a Vietnamese roll shop open until long after sensible people have eaten their lunch.
My favourite was
Roll'N on Bower at Semaphore Park. I had actually visited many roll shops but thought this one was in a great location, had a lovely cafe feel and were supporting a truly worthy cause:
Feeding Dreams Cambodia
Every Vietnamese roll shop in South Australia had special menu items.
Roll'N on Bower also offered a noodle salad, laksa, curries, dim sims and spring rolls, and those very yummy cold rolls (like a spring roll but not fried).
I have extra chili and always order 2 drinks as a consequence. Their Feeding Dreams Cambodia achievements are on display.
Lovely decor so linger for the iced coffee
Easy location for quick lunch or early dinner order
They were also happy to accommodate vegetarian requests and if I was in Adelaide longer, would have liked to have tried their tofu laksa. I hope you enjoy this great little local lunch venue as much as I did. These rolls are so healthy and the price makes it an affordable everyday alternative to making your own lunch at home.
