The park is probably smaller than the average residential block of land, but within its (fenced) bounds are swings, a see-saw and a fort structure with a slide. None are very impressive or new, but they're better than nothing.
I can't imagine anyone would come from too far away to visit the park, but if you do drive, the road immediately around the park is a No Stopping area, so you'll have to walk a short distance.
There is another public space nearby too: Browns Field. The play equipment there isn't any better, but there is a large field and a short walk that takes you through some sub-tropical rainforest (the only place you'll find anything like it in Ku-ring-gai).
