Rokeby is a small town in Gippsland comprising of no shops but a town hall, small playground and large flat grassed field, providing the perfect setting for a monthly country market.

Once a month from September to May, the quiet township of Rokeby, comes to life with a community market of around 150 stalls.

With the traditional tag line for the market being "Make it, Bake it Grow it, Breed it" you get an idea of the range of produce on offer.

A stand out of the market is the quality craftwork, from woodwork, to jewellery, clothing, toys, soaps and candles. You can find many items created by hand from talented locals, such as this sculpture work from Laurie Collins . There's also a number of plant stalls, and local produce on offer.

You won't go hungry with a range of food options available including; coffee, doughnuts, poffitjes and a sausage sizzle. So it's an ideal spot for a coffee break and the kids can always go for a play in the playground.
[BREAK]
There's a great outdoor atmosphere & country community feel to the market. Providing a relaxing mornings entertainment, you can spend the afternoon exploring the countryside by visiting the Toorongo Falls at Noojee and other local attractions.

The market is held on the 2nd Saturday of the month, September to May. It's closed for the winter months (June - August). The market is held at Rokeby Reserve.
