Looking for an interesting dining experience?

Rodizio in Cronulla went all out with their theatrics and decor creating a exciting restaurant experience in many ways.

The star attraction decor piece is definitely the vibrant back lit contemporary artwork set on the three glass panels behind the bar, depicting intriguing images of Brazil, created by a highly imaginative Newtown based artist.

The entrance waiting area has a 'jungle' feel, with artificial grass flooring and panels of foliage hanging on the wall. Sounds a bit tacky when you write about it, yet it is quite discerning.

To get the full Brazilian experience, make a reservation on a Saturday night, picture yourself at a traditional Brazilian Carnivale in Rio. A troupe of topless male Capoeira and lovely leggy female Brazilian dancers whirl around the tables enticing patrons to throw away their inhibitions and 'dance like nobody is watching'. It's a whole lot of fun, although your friends will remind you the following day with their portfolio of happy snaps taken on the night.

Enough theatrics? Well there's more. The waiter arrives with hot BBQ'd bread rolls, you may do a bit of finger hopping as you eagerly break the crisp roll exposing the soft steamy innards, lavish it with butter chunks, watch it melt briefly and pop it in to your mouth. Oh yum.

I would recommend the Churrasco & Tapas degustation at $38 per person. This is a carnivore's delight. To start, a selection of two tapas dishes arrive to whet your appetite and prepare you for the onslaught of ten succulent marinated BBQ'd meats arriving at intervals throughout the night on skewers the Three Musketeers would proudly use. Straight off the sizzling BBQ, the waiter carves the meat at your table, onto your plate. A word of warning; pace yourself, don't pig out with the first few meats, you can always ask for more slices of your favourites later.

The chicken is moist and full of herb flavours, smell the parmesan wafting from the pork, lamb is fragrantly spiced, beef is the famous rump carp and is crusted in rock salt and you can't go past the spicy chorizo.

When your stomach finally screams 'no more meat!' the conclusion to this banquet is roasted fresh pineapple coated with cinnamon and sugar.

Personally I would like to see some salad of sorts offered to balance all that meat, yet it is a good, fun night out.

A great selection of interesting cocktails, I am a sucker for exotic concocted cocktails, this one delighted me to no end.
