If only we were amongst friends or sane persons
Back before people got excited at throwing spoons at screenings of Tommy Wiseau's cult classic The Room, the quintessential cult interactive film experience was without a doubt The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The film was originally a spin-off of a The Rocky Horror Show stage musical, and over the years has evolved into something of its own. It's a cinema experience like no other to sing along to the classic soundtrack and dress as outrageously as the cast.
As the participation evolved to audience members re-enacting the movie itself, it seems only natural that someone would put on a floor show as a bonus to a screening of the film, and that's exactly what Cards 4 Sorrow have gone and done.
Even the most stoic of audience members find it a challenge to resist dancing to the time warp, and with a full ensemble dancing in front of you throughout the entire film, you can leave your inhibitions at the door and embrace the night the way it was intended.
The first event is entirely sold out, however its popularity means that the full Rocky Horror floor show experience will be back for those to experience who missed out the first time around.
Get ready to open your umbrellas, throw your hot-dogs, and embrace the chaos that has to be experienced to be believed. Everyone should go to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening at least once, and if you're going to do it, then there's no better way than this.
