Located just outside the Murray Bridge town centre, is home to a number of native bird species. A bird hide has been constructed on the western edge to provide visitors with a spot to observe these feathered flying friends. There are up to 80 different species in the wetland at various times of the year.

A couple of walking trails are available, ranging from 1.8 kilometres to 7.2 kilometres. The shortest Sanders Walk trail offers an easy flat terrain suitable for wheelchairs. The wetland is also part of the Lavender Federation Trail which stretches from Murray Bridge in the south to Clare in the north.

can be found along Mannum Road, a few minutes' drive from the Murray Bridge town centre. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.
