Combine with breathtaking views and this is an activity you will not regret doing.
Seems harder to find new activities that make you excited these days. Like a kid who know's nothing, and everything is an adventure not a risk.
Canyoning is not for the faint hearted. Ever had that feeling where everything stinks until it's finished? You always finish more confident. Whatever challenge you go through, it's suppressed by the
experience and these photos will convince you of that.
Go into the canyon knowing there will be stuff you weren't prepared for and thats okay. Some tips for you; don't assume anything, take water and trust the people you go with.
Take photos. If you find fitness challenging, the group will help you get through. When the endorphins kick in at the end you can look back on the photos and you'll wish you were still in the canyon.
is a great start for beginners with no abseils. Including some great jumps and slides through the canyon. Once you get to the end you will reverse your way back through the canyon equalling double the fun.
Located in
Wollemi National Park. The National Park website provides plenty of great information and for
specifically.
First time around, beginners are recommended to go with a guide. Check out
Laura Brown's on her experience and review canyoning with
River Deep Mountain High .
Thankyou Dave Jones at
EEVBlog for my first two amazing canyoning experience's and credit to Dave for the photos in
Flickr .
