Rockefellers is a retro kitchen café that opened recently on Fletcher Road in Largs Bay.



The place is decked out in authentic 50's and 60's furniture and fittings, it's like stepping back in time.



I was there late morning on a Saturday and the place was packed. It seems that in a very short period of time, the locals (and non-locals) have really taken to Rockefellers.



The menu is extremely appealing and the prices are great! Menu choices vary from a full breakfast (available all day), to foccacias, pancakes, soup and salads. The coffee was probably the best I've had in ages; it was so good I had to have a second cup, along with a giant sized home made strawberry topped pavlova which only cost $4.



For people wanting Gluten Free menu items, at the moment it may be worth taking your own GF bread. Or, you could do as my friend did and order the Best Breakfast Burger without the bun. The staff were open to suggestions and were very willing to make substitutions.



The staff were wonderfully friendly, they were efficient and made every visitor to their kitchen very welcome.



A visit to Rockefellers is like stepping into your grandma's kitchen – it's full of good cooking and welcoming smiles. I definitely will return to sample more of their amazing menu.
