If last year's Rockcliffe Night Market is any indication, celebrity cook Adam Liaw will need to bring his selfie look and his signing hand with him to the markets on Friday, April 5.

Last year, British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White found himself at the centre of attention, swamped by well-wishers as he wandered through the Denmark markets in WA's deep south.

Adam hasn't been to the Rockcliffe Markets before but says he is up for it and is looking forward to signing plenty of autographs and taking some selfies.



He says the most autographs he's ever signed in a day is about 3500 for the launch of one of his books. He's hoping Rockcliffe won't require quite that many because it left him with a very sore hand.

The Rockcliffe Night Markets are part of this year's Taste Great Southern which celebrates the food, wine and produce of the region.

The markets bring all those elements together at a free family-friendly event.



Denmark local and much-loved celebrity cook, Anna Gare, will be sharing the stage with Adam for a cooking demonstration.

Anna is currently seen on Channel Nine's cooking show Anna Gare's Cab Fare where she collects dishes from taxi drivers and then recreates them in her kitchen.

She's previously been seen on Junior MasterChef, The Great Australian Bake Off, The Best in Australia and Quickies in my Kitchen.



The markets will provide the opportunity for visitors to meet local producers and to sit on the lawns with the delightful cellar door as a backdrop to listen to live music.

Local delicacies will be on offer and there will be wine to enjoy or take home for later.

While entry to the markets is free, there is a $10 per car parking fee.
