Rockbourne Grove Park is a large spot in Seaford Rise, a great place to take the family for a picnic of a fun game of basketball. You'll find plenty to do when you head out to the park for a day with the family.

Run Around at the Park

One of the main features of Rockbourne Grove Park is the basketball court, perfect for a friendly match or just some shooting practice for the kids. While many parks may have a hoop, this park has got a whole court so that you can actually play a game. This is great for players to get some after hours practice. If you're into netball instead you could still have a friendly netball game or try some shots, even though the goals aren't quite right.

Shoot Some Hoops

For other sport fans, there is plenty of space to kick around a ball for some fun soccer or footy matches. Kids will have plenty of space to run around and go a little bit crazy. For a fun activity throw around the frisbee or get a kite and fly it in the air. You could also have a picnic on the grass, or sit on the table under the rotunda for a shady lunch spot.

Enjoy Some Lunch in the Rotunda

Rockbourne Grove Park also features some paths that wind through the park. These would be a little bit tame for anyone looking a riding path, but for kids it would be the perfect spot to get rid of those trainer wheels. They'll have plenty of space to ride around on, but it'll be a little bit safer then the first try on the pavement. You won't have to worry about cars backing out of driveways, because they'll just be able to ride and ride on the path.

Get Rid of Those Training Wheels

You won't find a playground at Rockbourne Grove Park, but there is still plenty of fun stuff for the kids. The basketball courts and bike paths are a fun way to get in some exercise and have a great time. There are no barbecues or toilet facilities, but you can bring along your own picnic to enjoy the space.
